Research Data We Process

ConsumerXM may process survey responses, respondent attributes, product preferences, purchase intent measures, gifting or purchase occasion measures, segmentation variables, dashboard filters, and statistical outputs.

Purpose of Processing

Research data is processed to create private dashboards, compare consumer groups, summarize preference patterns, evaluate evidence strength, and support product, audience, and marketing decisions.

Customer-provided survey data is used to provide the requested service. ConsumerXM does not sell customer survey data.

ConsumerXM does not sell or share personal information contained in customer-provided research data.

Sensitive or Personal Information

Customers should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal information.

If a dataset includes personal information, the customer is responsible for ensuring appropriate notices, consents, and legal authority for processing.

Statistical and AI-Assisted Outputs

ConsumerXM may generate statistical summaries and AI-assisted narrative summaries.

These outputs are designed for decision support and should be reviewed by qualified users before being relied upon.

Data Quality and Retention

ConsumerXM outputs depend on the quality, structure, sample size, and representativeness of the underlying survey data. Results should not be interpreted beyond the limits of the data.

Research data is retained only as needed to provide the service, support customer needs, meet contractual obligations, maintain security, or comply with law.
