Data Security Statement

ConsumerXM's security-oriented approach to private research data and demo-request information.

Last updated June 8, 2026

Security Practices

ConsumerXM uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information processed through the service.

ConsumerXM is designed around private access, limited data collection, server-side data processing, and restricted access to customer research materials.

ConsumerXM uses encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections for website and application traffic where the service is deployed through standard hosting infrastructure.

Access and Service Provider Safeguards

We use service providers for infrastructure, email delivery, security, and related operations.

Access to systems and data is limited to what is reasonably necessary to operate and support the service, and service providers are used only for functions needed to provide, protect, or improve ConsumerXM.

Data Minimization and Retention

ConsumerXM aims to collect and retain only the information needed to provide the service, respond to demo requests, operate dashboards, and protect against abuse.

Retention periods may vary depending on customer agreements, operational needs, legal obligations, security requirements, and support needs.

Limitations and Incident Response

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Customers should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information and should use appropriate controls when sharing research datasets.

If ConsumerXM becomes aware of a security incident affecting customer or personal information, we will assess the incident and take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law and contractual obligations.
